Life story
January 1, 1987
By Alisha: My brother Kyle was born on December 17, 1987 at St. Vincents Hospital in Worcester MA. He was the third child and only boy to parents Peter and Deena. He had the two coolest most awesome older sisters any kid could wish for! Myself Alisha and Niki our oldest sister. He was pretty much a doll for the two of us. As I have been told I would drag Kyle to my Mom and say "Baby cryin, baby cryin" but of course he would be after I pulled him off of the couch. Kyle spent the first few years of his life living in Whitensville MA with his parents and sister until our Uncle Paul moved in with us in 1992. This was a big change for us but a very welcome one. Everyone especially Kyle loved Uncle Paul. Kyle also loved toy guns and toy electronics although at this time there were not many out there that were really cool. He did however one year for Christmas get this toy gun that made all these electronic type sounds. It was very loud and annoying to say the least but he LOVED that toy gun. He was always playing with it and playing with it at times when he wasn't supposed to. Well one day very early in the morning my Mom heard the gun being played with and yelled down to Kyle to stop playing with it it was way to early.. But he kept playing with it.. So she got up out of bed.. Went downstairs and Kyle was no where to be found but the noise was still going on.. She listened for a minute then realized where the noise was coming from. Kyle had played with that toy so often that our bird Tiki learned how to mimic the sounds of it completely. She was perfect in her tone and accuracy of the toy. He had managed at such a young age to teach the bird to mimic the toy gun he loved so much. Where we lived at the time there was a huge yard and always little dirt piles around.. Kyle ALWAYS had tonka trucks and I loved to play with them too. So we would spend many many hours during the summer outdoors playing with his tonka trucks.. Building stuff shuffling dirt from one spot to the next. Then there was the time when we were very much into the ghostbusters! We were OBSESSED! And we just had to have the ghostbuster packs.. And we got them and Kyle LOVED IT! We spent many more hours playing ghost busters in that yard. The one thing I learned from my brother was how to share. We had no choice growing up. I also learned what true strength is and what a hero is. ~~
